Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

Architectural Control Committee

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) plays a vital role in preserving the integrity, aesthetic appeal, and overall harmony of Crystal Lakes. After property owners submit the required documents for new structures, modifications to existing structures, driveways, and other property improvements, the ACC carefully reviews each submission to ensure compliance with the Architectural Requirements. By upholding these standards, the committee helps maintain the natural beauty and character of our community.

How to Apply for ACC Approval

Before submitting your application to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC), ensure you have completed the following steps:

  • Review the Guidelines: Read and understand the Architectural Requirements to ensure your project meets community standards.
  • Stake Your Site: Clearly mark the dimensions of your building site for inspection. A fee may apply if a second inspection is required.
  • Complete the Application:
  • Ensure all applications are signed on both sides by the property owner.
  • Include a detailed plot plan with setback dimensions. Plot maps are available at the Basecamp office.
  • For structures and fences, provide color samples of materials (siding, roofing, fencing).
  • Submit on Time: Completed applications must be submitted to the office at least 15 days prior to the next ACC meeting. The ACC meets on the first Saturday of each month at 1:00 PM in the Wapiti Center.
